Removal
| 1. |
Remove front side door water deflector. |
| 2. |
Disconnect electrical connector. |
| 3. |
Remove access hole plug located on
inside opening of door that conceals screw for latch cylinder clamp. |
| 4. |
Pull and hold door handle in open position. |
| 5. |
While holding door handle, unscrew
latch cylinder clamp screw until it comes to a hard stop. |
| 6. |
Release handle, by now handle should
stay in open position, Fig. 1. |
| 7. |
Remove lock cylinder, gently pull it
straight out. |
| 8. |
Remove outside door handle by sliding
rearwards and then out in a swinging motion, Fig. 1. |
