device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid
the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury. |
Removal

Disconnect hood strut. |

Remove four hood hinge bolts, Fig.

Installation
| Reverse procedure to install.
Toque hood hinge bolts to 18 ft. lbs. |
Adjustment
| 1. |
Loosen hinge to body bolts to adjust
hood fore and aft and cross vehicle. Position hood as required,

Adjust hood latch and hood bumpers
to adjust hood up and down at front of hood, Fig. 3. |
