Chevrolet Captiva Service & Repair Manual: Rear Bumper

Removal

1. Disconnect battery ground.
2. Disconnect connector of rear object sensor, if equipped.
3. Remove bolts on rear wheelhouse liner, Fig. 1.
4. Remove rear lower fascia retainers, Fig. 2.
5. Remove tail lamps.
6. Remove upper fascia screws and retainers, Fig. 3.
7. Remove rear bumper fascia from rear quarter panel by pulling side of fascia outward, Fig. 4.
8. Remove rear bumper fascia from vehicle.

Installation

Reverse procedure to install.
