Chevrolet Captiva Service & Repair Manual: Suspension Shock Absorber R&R

Rear

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove rear tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove lower shock bolt, Fig. 1.
4. Remove upper shock bolt, Fig. 2.
5. Remove shock from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque shock absorber bolts to 81 ft. lbs.
